Just found this game curious about the history

Is there any youtube videos that go over the whole history all the big moments and people of Entropia? I am super fascinated by this game, and learning about it if I have the chance to run a piece of land and basically have all kinds of fun events seems so neat. As for now I am sweating to build up skills, and would like to slowly buy deeds as I can afford to gain more and more. Heck just running a store or whatever sounds fun. And with that kind of end game its like a never ending game on steroids'. Also what are good societies for people that are into that area of the game are there? Mayhem, Codex and other planets

Noticed the new Codex page split up by different planets and found an issue (At least on Ark) did an hour or so in the Mayhem Practice Annihilation and the mobs don't seem to appear on the Codex (As stuck on Ark mobs even in the instance and can't select other planets) Can anyone on a planet other than Ark and Caly check to see if you can see the Mayhem creatures appear for you. Auction Limit

Why is there a limit to how many items you can list at auction, so for the last 3 months I have been on Ark doing the smuggler missions and any loot with a historic MU of over 105% (Anything lower goes to TT or terminal). So tonight I got a warp to calypso to sell my ill gotten gains (As to be fair you can't sell most things on Ark Auction) and after listing quite a few items I am now stuck to waiting for things to sell before I can list more, why is this a thing? I have 30+ scopes, some quite nice weapons as well as tons of wool, cloth and nanites and robot loot with nice MU. Account hacked

Some of you guys might know me as the healer guy who regularly advertises on #fap as "ABHIAANG'S HEALING SERVICE with....." Ok, to make it clear, it was partly my fault because I was careless enough to not have 2fa activated on my account. This is because I got a new phone and completely forgot to get 2fa after removing it from old phone. On to the main part... So on 28/Nov 2pm local time, I went to log into my account as usual. Something was off, because my usual keyboard shortcuts and item shortcuts icons on my screen were missing. So I look at my inventory, and realised that most of my valuables were missing. Thats including an Imp Gyro Fap , divine chip , ares ring modified , ares ring (L) , hermetic ring (L) and many more items. Even my adj pixie and vision s10...Additionally, the hacker used my account to purchase a Summer and an Easter Strongbox for 500 ped each on AH. That's thousands of dollars just gone overnight...I panicked and quickly change my passwor...

Do I need a good pc to run this game?

I have a hp laptop and it can't quite run Ark: Survival Evolved (although I just tried running the game and had no idea how to change the settings so it could run, i also did not know my pc had gaming mode.) I don't know the specs or anything and I wouldn't be able to understand any of the requirements lol. All I know is it is a windows 10 HP laptop with a lot of storage + gaming mode and it's not slow or anything. If I can't run Ark then I would assume I can't run Entropia Universe? Can't log into account

Hello, all! I am a new player to EU (have been on since Oct 13) and as of yesterday I cannot log into my account. I launch the client loader and it's all fine but when I start up the game and log in, it says "connecting" and then when it says "authorizing" the game freezes and then I get the pop-up that says there was a time-out issue and wait some minutes. It's been happening over and over, and the support people only got back to me once. I went through all the stuff on the website of what to do, and then when I put the setting down to 56kbits I was able to connect and get into the game. I logged out, and sent a reply to my ticket, and then when I went to log in again I got the same pop-up about the time-out issue. I was just wondering if this happening to anyone else? Is it something that is going on because of the update/patch? Am I just dumb? Should I just wait it out and try again later? *I am not really computer literate at all, so please forgive me...

I never played this game but it depresses me

Seriously, this game is horrible. When grinding, instead of getting better and better (like on every normal video game) it just becomes worst and worst with every piece of your stuff gradually degrading until the next time you sink money into the game. There is absolutely no skill expression, the graphics are terrible, the gameplay doesn't even look fun in the slightiest. I would feel guilty to even give money to the developers of such an atrocity and ethically questionable thing. Correct me if any of my statements are wrong but I just wasted 3 hours researching about it after seing a YouTube video about it and it just got worse and worse to a point where I could hardly believe it. What's keeping you guys to play it ? Only things I could see would either being gambling addiction or the social aspect of the game being good. Or maybe calculating the most optimized way to spend money into the game to literally play it for as much as possible without having to waste money again...

Is it really not possible to turn off ambient noises?

Locked account after buying starter pack?

Anyone have any insight into locked accounts? I was playing earlier tonight and after about 3 days of playing decided I liked the game enough to buy the gold starter pack. The transaction looks like it went through on my card and account. However, I was logged into the game when I bought it and it immediately gave me a pop up about my log in status and logged me out. When I went to log back in, it said my account was locked. Thinking about returning to EU, how much would I need to deposit per month to enjoy it as a game?

I played EU about 7 years ago and had a lot of fun but in the end I got tired of playing the game with a calculator and trying to break even at the end of the month. I loved the universe and the gameplay though so after trying many MMOs in the past years that were either a boring theme park or a gankfest I’m considering getting back into EU. How do I tell if I'm maxed on an item? Specifically a Medkit?

It looks like they removed the info stat on gear that said SIB: Yes, Never, Not Anymore, which for the life of me I can't figure out why. But for a Medkit, how do I know if I'm maxed on it now? It looks like there's a range for the learning period, so for example on the Vivo S10 it says SIB learning period: 1.0-5.0 So if I'm at 5.0 or higher, that means I'm maxed? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but I have a really hard time interpreting stats in this game and I just want to make sure I'm understanding where I'm at correctly. Can a successful/sustainable Crafter give a break down of their thinking?

Im really beginning to enjoy crafting but at my level it is horrendously expensive and wasteful, I am for now residing myself to the EP1 on quantity afk grind, letting my crafting skills build while I get on with work elsewhere around the home. Looking forward I would like to begin to understand how the more experienced crafters in the game think so as to avoid pitfalls beginner crafters make. When you pick an item to craft, how are you calculating the needed success rate to be sustainable? How important a BP Quality and Crafting skills in relation to that success rate? Before getting into a niche how can you tell if it would be worthwhile, like what markers do you look for before you pick items to craft? What do you look to avoid? Then as a crafter when you get the 'formula' correct how profitable can it actually be? And any general advice to beginner crafters in terms of DO's & DON'Ts? (Im not asking you to expose your edge or markets you are involved in, me...

Best way to farm sweat - Non depo/New player

I think I'll ask anything new, because I guess most new players try this game looking to make money. So here's my question, I'm a player who for now won't put any money in it, maybe in the future I could. I looked up some guidelines and they all told me that the best way is farming sweat so it's really a good idea? or is there some other way without depositing. Are Skill Effects Super Marginal?

Brand new to the game but have already learned quite a bit from reading and talking to people, absolutely loving it. I didn't pick it up to earn PED and can afford to P2P (already put in $35). I picked it up because I saw the grinding and skill gain, which reminded me of the good old days of Runescape. That said, it's very odd to be hunting a Lv4 Mob for 16 hours and not feel any stronger. I know that it is making a difference but it's not manifesting in a noticeable way. Is the bulk of getting stronger simply about buying better gear - in other words, earning more PED? Considering Joining

I'm interested in highly unique and niche games, and EU looks interesting, but from reading, it seems 90% of people have to pay pretty significant amounts of money to even keep playing. My main question is: if I'd want to be a mid-tier player, how much is that likely to run a month? I'm happy to pay some, but it seems the whole game is setup to drain money rapidly unless you have the best gear. How is Efficiency Determined?

Does anyone know what variables actually make up the efficiency % that goes towards a weapons efficiency. Looking at it from my perspective it seems like a combination of gun decay, gun dps and dpp. Hopefully someone can enlighten me on this topic. So I was reading PCF today and came across this interesting post by a user called Ramsey: MA doesn't pay LA owners.A little explanation of how tax system works. For this I need to start with how a planet works. If you do not believe what I will explain here, feel free to read an official announcement by MindArk here . In the above link you can see the example for the Moon, but it works the same way on every planet: So basically, how it works: - The planet will get 10% tax of the loot found on this planet - The planet will get 25% tax of all the loot from users who started on this planet. (doesn't matter what planet he is on now) So this means that on every single moment you pay 35% taxes! For example, if you started on Calypso but you hunt on Arkadia: - 10% goes to Arkadia (the hunted planet) - 25% goed to Calypso (your original planet) So YES: if you hunt in Calypso on the Eudoria continent you ALSO pay taxes!
